Devereux Pocono Center provides a wide array of programs and services to children, adolescents and adults – ages two through life span – with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and emotional and/or behavioral differences. Our clinicians come from a myriad of specialities and work collaboratively in different settings which includes community, and residential treatment. Located throughout beautiful Northeast PA (Wayne, Monroe, Pike, and Carbon counties) Devereux Pocono is dedicated to empowering individuals to discover their innate strengths, talents and potential to live meaningful and productive lives.

Requirements

  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Licensed psychologist OR Master’s degree with certification in field of study required. (i.e. BCBA, LPC, LCSW, BSL, LSW)
  • Candidates without current certification will be considered if eligibility is met to sit for certification exams.
  • Five years progressive responsibility in human services.
  • Experience with differential diagnosis; training in cultural diversity and sensitivity.
  • Experience with behavioral intervention assessment and knowledge of psychological assessments and behavioral inventories.
  • Experience providing clinical services, supervising services and or coordinating clinical services.
  • Strong communication and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with staff and the community to achieve optimum balance between service, quality, consistency, community awareness, and effective utilization of clinical resources.
  • Provide the leadership and vision needed to deliver quality programming and treatment within Devereux standards.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure clinical objectives are obtained.
  • Lead clinical staff supervision, development programs and clinical programming for the adults and children receiving services.
  • Mentor and develop our clinical team.
