About The Position

The Director of Clinic & Physician Services is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising all operations of assigned clinic(s) and product line(s). This role oversees clinical outcomes, financial performance, and patient satisfaction scores. The Director recruits, trains, and evaluates management and supervisory staff, and develops, implements, and evaluates clinic policies, goals, and objectives to ensure quality care, efficient operations, and compliance with regulations, thereby fulfilling the Mercyhealth Mission, Vision, and Values. The position also involves participating in the development and modification of clinic and product line programs, interpreting and enforcing policies, and investigating and resolving complaints. The Director works closely with the Vice President on strategic policies and maintains the clinic and product line QA & I program. They also participate in analysis for key initiatives and projects and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Three to five years of previous group practice management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Computer experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, directing, and supervising all operations of assigned clinic(s) and product line(s).
  • Ensuring clinical outcomes, financial performance, and patient satisfaction scores for assigned clinic(s) and product line(s).
  • Recruiting, training, and evaluating management and supervisory staff.
  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating clinic policies, goals, and objectives to ensure quality care, efficient operations, and compliance with regulations.
  • Participating in the development and modifications of clinic and product line programs.
  • Interpreting and enforcing department and institution policies.
  • Participating in appropriate clinic and health system committees.
  • Investigating and resolving complaints or referring unusual problems to superior.
  • Working closely with Vice President in developing and implementing strategic policies.
  • Maintaining continuing development and implementation of clinic and product line QA & I program.
  • Participating in analysis aimed at key initiatives and projects for assigned product line(s).
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
