About The Position

At Alera Group, our Wealth & Financial Services team helps individuals, families, and businesses pursue their financial goals through personalized planning, investment strategies, retirement planning, and wealth management solutions. As a Director of Client Connections, you'll build trusted relationships, provide exceptional service, and help clients make informed financial decisions with confidence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, customer service, or front desk role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional presence and commitment to delivering exceptional client service
  • Ability to handle challenging interactions professionally and effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a financial services, insurance, or professional services environment
  • Experience operating a multi-line or switchboard phone system
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
  • Experience supporting seminars, events, or client engagement activities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve administrative challenges
  • Experience managing office supply inventories and vendor coordination
  • Commitment to providing a high-quality client experience

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
  • Transfer calls, take messages, and ensure timely communication with clients and colleagues
  • Welcome visitors and provide a professional and friendly office experience
  • Support seminar and event preparation activities including materials assembly and logistics
  • Maintain office supplies, client gifts, and inventory to support daily operations
  • Keep conference rooms, common areas, and meeting spaces organized and well stocked
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing shipments through USPS and FedEx
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office and client service operations
