About The Position

The Christian education ministry at GSPC oversees faith formation from birth through adulthood, currently serving approximately 29 children and 27 youth. While the ministry features strong assets like a beloved VBS, a traditional Sunday School, and annual youth trips to Montreat, it is currently in a "rebuilding" phase focused on stabilizing attendance and deepening parental engagement. The ideal candidate is a hope-filled, enthusiastic, and relational leader who can serve as a "visionary architect" to stabilize and grow the church’s faith formation programs. They should be a self-starter with a passion for kids and families, capable of navigating a diverse theological environment while recruiting and empowering a fresh team of volunteers.
