About The Position

The Director of Recruitment provides strategic and operational leadership for student recruitment at Charis Bible College. This role is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies that attract, engage, and guide prospective students toward enrollment. The Director leads the recruitment team, oversees prospective-student outreach and pipeline performance, and partners closely with Enrollment, Marketing, and other college departments to advance institutional enrollment goals.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach performance, establish accountability, and manage recruitment priorities.
  • Ability to interpret recruitment funnel data, activity metrics, and conversion trends and use them to guide action.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, event, and project-management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and represent Charis Bible College effectively within a Christian higher-education and ministry environment.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration, judgment, adaptability, and commitment to a high standard of service.
  • Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
  • Ability to travel and participate in recruitment events as organizational needs require.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
  • Must pass all required checks.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in a related field is preferred.
  • A Charis Bible College graduate is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute student recruitment strategies and annual plans aligned with Charis Bible College enrollment goals and priority prospective-student audiences.
  • Lead and develop recruitment staff, establishing clear goals, expectations, accountability, and effective team rhythms.
  • Oversee prospective-student outreach, engagement, follow-up, college recruitment events, partnerships, and other student recruitment initiatives.
  • Manage the prospective-student pipeline and recruitment funnel, monitoring activity, responsiveness, conversion, and progress toward goals.
  • Use CRM systems, reporting, and recruitment data to evaluate performance, forecast results, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Charis Marketing to align campaigns, lead-generation efforts, messaging, and prospective-student engagement strategies.
  • Partner with Enrollment and admissions-related functions to ensure effective handoffs, communication, and continuity throughout the prospective-student enrollment journey.
  • Manage recruitment budgets, travel, events, resources, and strategic outreach opportunities with attention to stewardship and college priorities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
