We are seeking a Director of Catering to lead our catering sales and client experience—someone who can take a spark of an idea and shape it into a clear, compelling vision. This role owns the full client journey from inquiry through planning, and partners closely with event operations to ensure that vision is executed seamlessly.

Requirements

Strong in sales, relationship-building, and client leadership
Experienced in catering, events, or hospitality leadership
Detail-driven with a strong sense of aesthetics and flow
Collaborative, organized, and energized by bringing ideas to life

Responsibilities

Catering Sales & Revenue Drive catering sales from inquiry through contract and planning
Build strong relationships with clients, planners, and partners
Position The Sunny as a go-to destination for high-impact, design-forward events
Client Experience & Vision Development Serve as a creative partner, helping clients define and refine their event vision
Translate ideas into clear, executable plans—menus, flow, and overall experience
Ensure every event is thoughtfully designed and fully documented
Partnership with Operations Collaborate closely with event operations and culinary teams to transition events from vision to execution
Ensure all details are aligned and communicated clearly
Support key moments as needed, while operations leads on-site execution
Strategy & Positioning Shape and evolve The Sunny’s catering offering and market presence
Identify opportunities for growth, partnerships, and repeat business
