About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking a Director of Career Services with strong leadership, sales, and managerial skills. The Director develops industry relationships and affiliations with area companies, and coaches and prepares students for employment. This team leader develops, leads, and manages Career Services professionals to achieve career-placement success.

The role oversees Career Services activities and placement compliance and reporting, builds employer partnerships and career opportunities for students and graduates, and organizes events and programs that promote career readiness and placement. The position is full-time and includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off and holidays, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Career Services, job placement, staffing, and/or recruitment.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Charisma and excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
• Management experience, including the ability to train and motivate.
• Team-oriented approach and willingness to help strengthen the entire campus as well as the department.
• Strong time-management skills and willingness to dedicate the time needed to contribute to a successful organization.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with social media platforms.
• Knowledge of CampusVue.

Responsibilities

• Coach and prepare students for employment opportunities.
• Develop and maintain employer partnerships and career opportunities for the benefit of Lincoln Tech students and graduates.
• Organize and conduct job fairs, employer visits, employer-in-residence programs, career information sessions, mock interviews, and similar activities that promote career readiness and career placement.
• Participate in weekly management meetings and student panels.
• Manage career-placement compliance and reporting.
• Manage Career Services activities to continually improve outcomes.
• Motivate and lead the Career Services team to achieve company and accreditation expectations.
