About The Position

Director of Capture Management - Space Warfighting LOCATION: Arlington, VA; Huntsville, AL; Denver, CO; Los Angeles, CA JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: TS/SCI Eligible (TS/SCI w/CI Poly preferred) CERTIFICATION: N/A TRAVEL: Up to 50% (Dependent on customer, pursuit, and mission needs) SALARY RANGE: $200k - $265k Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an onsite Director of Capture Management - Space Warfighting, to help shape the next chapter of national security space. This is an exciting senior-level opportunity for a capture leader who wants to work and make an impact at the intersection of growth strategy, mission innovation, and one of the most important shifts in modern defense: space as an active warfighting domain. In this role, you will help Astrion move beyond traditional services capture and into integrated, solution-led growth across Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and other national security space customers as well as allied nations. You will partner with senior growth, mission, campaign, technical, and customer-facing leaders to shape opportunities that bring together mission engineering, AI-enabled software, cyber-resilient ground systems, space control, space sensing, test and evaluation, operational support, and mission integration. This is a role for someone who can see where the market is going, understand what customers need before it is fully defined, and turn Astrion’s capabilities into differentiated solutions that matter to the warfighter. MISSION AREA: SPACE WARFIGHTING The Space Warfighting mission area is focused on customers across the U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, Combat Forces Command, STARCOM, NRO, USSPACECOM, SAF/SQ, SMDC, related national security space partners and allied defense space organizations. Astrion is positioning this mission area around integrated capabilities for contested space architectures, missile warning and tracking, dynamic space operations and command and control, sensor-to-shooter orchestration, space control, electromagnetic warfare, cyber- and EW-resilient ground systems and links, operational test, training, wargaming, rapid acquisition, and mission sustainment. This is not a role for someone who simply tracks opportunities. It requires a senior capture leader who can build customer trust, influence early shaping, understand the competitive field, develop credible solution strategies with technical SMEs, and lead disciplined capture campaigns from qualification through award.
