The Director of Campus Safety and Emergency Management is responsible for providing leadership in maintaining and enhancing safety and security for the entire community on the University of Baltimore campus. Reporting to the Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF), the director is an integral part of campus operations and planning. The director oversees campus safety operations and manages UBalt’s civilian security ambassadors. This position regularly coordinates and collaborates with the University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB) police liaison for UBalt. This position is responsible for providing leadership for UBalt’s emergency management program and relevant compliance and preparedness functions, including incident management, the maintenance of emergency operations plan (EOP) and associated annexes, and Clery compliance. If a conditional offer is accepted, applicants must pass a fingerprinting background check.
