About The Position
Under the supervision of the Principal, this position aids in creating an environment which tends to the spiritual needs of the students.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Theology, Pastoral/Religious Studies.
- Prior experience working with youth in high school.
- Has or working toward a Religion Certification.
- Be a practicing Catholic with an active sacramental and faith-life and in good standing with the Church.
- Must have completed Protecting God's Children Certification.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates an atmosphere of Christian hospitality where all feel welcome.
- Regular communication with school personnel in regard to campus ministry activities
- Works collaboratively with the Administration, Theology department, and school chaplain.
- Coordinates school liturgies and sacramental needs
- Coordinate liturgical celebrations school-wide Masses, daily Masses, and faculty Masses
- Assist in planning Christian Service Projects for all.
- Planning and supervision of both day long and overnight retreats (KAIROS).
