Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Business Operations has responsibility for non-manufacturing operations at the site, including supply chain and program management, and may manage other functional areas in support of manufacturing. This role is a key member of the site leadership team, entrusted with the onboarding of new programs, ongoing program management, and the procurement, warehousing, and logistics operations for the site. Assists the GM in planning, monitoring, and reporting of weekly, monthly and annual business results; prepares and/or oversees management of operational performance metrics Maintains effective customer relations, manages a team of customer-facing personnel to ensure multiple points of contact with key customers and/or vendors and avoids single points of failure relative to personnel and/or vendors & third-party services Ensures compliance with applicable elements of AS9100, ITAR, OSHA, internal processes, and other applicable regulatory and agency requirements Effectively utilizes the ERP to operate, measure, and drive the business; employs best practices and follows established procedures to ensure accuracy of transactions and compliance with customer contracts, terms, and conditions Runs regularly scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly reporting from the ERP; performs or assigns associated work and updates metrics and internal dashboards accordingly; enters data and corrects order and customer data as needed to ensure accurate shipping and invoicing information Monitors order book and production schedule to ensure timely procurement activities, optimizing lead times, inventory levels, and third-party service vendors/subcontractors; ensures accuracy of ERP data used to support decision-making Develops and maintains effective relationships with site leaders, business development personnel, General Managers, and other personnel at various position levels and locations Performs duties in accordance with the Accurus Delegation of Authority regulations; ensures adequate and timely approvals at higher levels when required Periodically visits vendors and suppliers, may visit customers, and occasionally travels for other company business Sets an example for integrity, communication, and compliance for others in the organization by following policies, communicating professionally, and providing timely responses to internal and external customers This role is identified as requiring ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance; therefore, qualified candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person (per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15): An individual who is granted U.S. citizenship, or An individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence (i.e., a "Green Card" holder), or An individual who is granted status as a "protected person"
