About The Position

What You'll Do: Research and proactively identify new means to expand services and drive census growth Propose new business ventures and innovative partnerships to achieve quality, cost management and strategic growth goals under the direction of SVP, Clinical Operations. Develop business cases on potential strategy options Collect, analyze and monitor competitive information in the marketplace and prioritize areas for development in collaboration with the Leadership Team. Design, develop and implement strategic network development, contract management and business development/sales plans and initiatives Oversee business development contracts and confirm compliance with relevant regulations Actively develop and manage relationships with strategic partners, maintaining regular, effective communication to promote collaborative relationships. Develop an understanding of strategic partners’ systems and operations to properly represent partner needs at internal meetings Act as liaison between internal departments and prospective third parties to facilitate contract implementation and resolve issues Identify, track and ensure resolution on problems/complaints and other issues of concern related to partner relationships in collaboration with other Samaritan staff as appropriate In collaboration with other leaders, assist in developing and executing the strategic business plan to support the agency’s value-based payment initiatives. Build relationships with key referral sources and market influencers to maximize the agency’s positioning and penetration Collaborate with Manager of Clinical Systems and Nurse Informaticist to analyze market and product performance data to direct priorities and improve market position Hire, train, mentor, and conduct scheduled meetings with departmental staff Other duties as assigned or required for the performance of this position What You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or marketing; master’s degree preferred Active RN License highly preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in businesses development preferred; experience in healthcare and/or hospice experience preferred Experience in strategic planning and execution and change management preferred Strong computer experience required Strong communication skills required Valid driver’s license and auto insurance Benefits Include, But Not Limited To: Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness Program. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or marketing; master’s degree preferred
  • Active RN License highly preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in businesses development preferred; experience in healthcare and/or hospice experience preferred
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution and change management preferred
  • Strong computer experience required
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
