About The Position

The Director of Business Development leads the Business Development Manager Team (BDMT) in delivering high-quality water infrastructure solutions, driving revenue growth, and executing CROM’s Go-To-Market strategy. The role oversees sales performance, territory development, key partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration to position CROM as a trusted infrastructure partner.

• 10+ years Water/Wastewater industry experience
• 10+ years sales experience
• 5+ years public speaking experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Develop a cohesive, positive, results-driven BDMT culture
• Ensure annual and future revenue goals are met
• Create and implement KPIs to measure and drive performance
• Develop BDMT through training and professional development
• Oversee opportunity pipeline and ensure accuracy
• Drive Continuing Service Agreement (CSA) growth
• Recruit, hire, and develop BDMs
• Travel with BDMs and support territory engagement
• Cultivate partnerships with sales representative firms and partners
• Build relationships with municipal leaders and engineers
• Lead strategic industry conference participation
• Model CROM core values
• Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Estimating, ISS, etc.
• Oversee administrative duties including expenses, timesheets, CRM management
• Implement Go-To-Market strategy to expand market footprint
