Requirements

Experienced and collaborative

Experience in facilities, grounds, maintenance, custodial services, vehicle fleet management, and capital improvement projects

Responsibilities

Leading and supervising district maintenance and custodial staff.
Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
Managing district facilities, grounds, athletic facilities, and vehicle fleet.
Planning and overseeing construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects.
Developing and administering the annual Buildings and Grounds budget.
Managing purchasing, contracts, and vendor relationships.
Ensuring compliance with OSHA/VOSHA, AHERA, EPA, ADA, fire and life safety requirements, indoor air quality, water quality, and other applicable regulations.
Collaborating with school administrators to support safe, efficient, and well-maintained schools.
Responding to facility emergencies and leading emergency preparedness efforts.
Promoting energy efficiency, sustainability, and long-range facilities planning.
