About The Position

The Diocese of Lansing is seeking a Director of Building and Properties to assist in overseeing diocesan-owned properties, construction, and facilities operations. This role manages property acquisitions and dispositions, capital improvement projects, renovations, and repairs. The position ensures compliance with diocesan policies, industry best practices, and legal requirements regarding workplace environment, safety, and insurance. The Director oversees capital expenditure budgets for the diocesan chancery and coordinates temporal goods requests for parishes, schools, and agencies. The incumbent also serves in a consultative capacity to these entities as needed.

Requirements

Significant experience in construction project management.
Tenacious attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively and collegially with the chancery staff, pastors, and administrators.

Responsibilities
