About The Position

We are looking for a visionary Director of Brand Strategy to be the foundational architect of our brand. This isn't just about setting a vision—it's about building the operating system for how our brand wins. You are a strategic powerhouse who thrives on hands-on execution, capable of moving from 30,000-foot strategy to daily tactical deployment. You will be the ultimate owner of our brand narrative, community connection, and cultural relevance, ensuring every touchpoint delivers outsized, commercially impactful results.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on brand strategy or brand marketing experience, ideally within the apparel space.
  • Non-negotiable: Proven track record operating and scaling a brand in a high-growth, high-ambiguity DTC environment.
  • A true builder: You balance high-level strategic thought with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute tactical sprints.
  • Expert fluency in community-driven marketing and leveraging social platforms as brand engines.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching impactful brand storytelling and scaling collaborations.
  • Entrepreneurial by nature, highly collaborative, and deeply comfortable making critical decisions with imperfect information.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the end-to-end brand strategy, roadmap, and core positioning across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Translate ambitious business targets into clear, compelling, and disruptive brand narratives.
  • Establish brand guardrails while aggressively championing fast-paced experimentation, iteration, and growth
  • Instill brand consistency while aggressively championing fast-paced experimentation and growth hacks.
  • Lead the creation of storytelling that fosters deep emotional attachment and measurable community loyalty.
  • Articulate the brand’s distinct voice, values, and cultural point of view to cut through the noise.
  • Engineer narratives that resonate authentically with our core community and convert new audiences.
  • Champion a community-first approach, treating community as the primary lever for brand expansion.
  • Serve as the brand’s connective tissue, collaborating closely with Product, Growth, Retention & Loyalty, Social, and CX teams to drive genuine two-way engagement.
  • Identify, activate, and mobilize brand advocates, creators, and key cultural moments for maximum impact.
  • Drive and execute brand collaborations—from identifying authentic partners to overseeing swift, high-visibility launch strategies.
  • Ensure all partnerships are authentic, additive to our core identity, and culturally aligned.
  • Move quickly from opportunity to execution without sacrificing brand integrity
  • Bring a strong, entrepreneurial creative eye to brand campaigns, social content, and experimental channels.
  • Partner with Creative to move ideas from concept to consumer-ready execution at speed.
  • Ensure social platforms are a high-fidelity expression of the brand, not just a distribution arm.
  • Define and track brand health metrics, community engagement, and cultural impact
  • Balance long-term brand building with short-term commercial performance
  • Manage budgets efficiently while maximizing creative and cultural ROI
