About The Position

This is a transformation-focused role responsible for evaluating and reshaping billing processes, systems, and team structure. The role includes organizational redesign, automation, and potential centralization of billing operations and is not a steady-state management position. The Director of Billing will lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of billing operations for national accounts, ensuring accurate, timely, and scalable invoicing across three legal entities. This role will transform and scale the billing function to support growth from approximately $500M to $1B in annual revenue over the next three years. The Director will design and implement standardized processes, optimize systems within an Oracle-based environment, and build a high-performing organization. Success requires strong leadership in change management, process transformation, and cross-functional collaboration, particularly during the initial 12–18 months of significant operational evolution. Candidates must have prior experience building or transforming a billing or order-to-cash function. This role requires a leader who can quickly diagnose issues, make data-driven decisions, challenge the status quo and execute with urgency.
