About The Position

Under the direction of GCHC Chief Executive Officer and/or designee, performs high level managerial and administrative duties in program coordination, planning, development, monitoring, and evaluation, in a variety of programs and services; provides administrative and clinical supervision to program managers/supervisors; performs related work as required.

Requirements

  • Master’s in Social Work or Master’s in a Human Services Field
  • Michigan Master’s Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential, Clinical and/or Macro
  • Five (5) years program experience in the area of behavioral health services for individuals with a diagnosis of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, mental illness, and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorder including two (2) years’ experience in supervisory management/program administration which includes an understanding of service delivery in a managed care environment.
  • Willing and able to supervise as requested by senior management.
  • Master's in Psychology
  • Michigan Limited License Psychologist (LLP) credential
  • Five (5) years program experience in the area of behavioral health services for individuals with a diagnosis of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, mental illness, and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorder including two (2) years experience in supervisory management/program administration which includes an understanding of service delivery in a managed care environment.
  • Master’s in Counseling
  • License Professional Counselor (LPC) credential
  • Five (5) years program experience in the area of behavioral health services for individuals with a diagnosis of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, mental illness, and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorder including two (2) years experience in supervisory management/program administration which includes an understanding of service delivery in a managed care environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain MDHHS credentials as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
  • May be required to obtain and maintain Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) supervisory credential as appropriate to licensure.
  • Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License, current automobile insurance, and the use of personal vehicle during work hours.
  • Employee must maintain valid licensure to retain employment.

Nice To Haves

  • MCBAP credential; either Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) OR Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) OR Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional –Diplomat (CCDP-D)
