Since 1970, MidPen has developed affordable housing, provided professional property management, and coordinated support programs for residents. The organization operates in 12 Northern California counties, managing a portfolio of over 142 properties that house 22,800 individuals. MidPen is recognized as a leading non-profit developer and steward of affordable housing and is committed to social, economic, and racial equity. The Director of Asset Management, Real Estate Transactions reports to the Vice President of Asset Management and is part of the Senior Leadership Team. This role oversees assigned projects within MidPen’s stabilized portfolio, including rehabs, loan modifications, refinancing, investor buyouts, grants, rebate programs, and other capital events. The position requires collaboration with internal and external partners, supervision of the Real Estate Transactions Team, and continuous improvement of processes and policies. The role is based in either the Foster City or East Bay office.
