Edible Arrangements, LLCAtlanta, GA
Onsite

About The Position

BroadPeak Mobility, an Atlanta-based electric vehicle company backed by BroadPeak Investment Group, is hiring its founding on-site operations leader — the person who stands up the Georgia assembly facility, manages the manufacturing partner technical trainer relationship, builds the production team, and owns every vehicle that comes off the floor. About the Company BroadPeak Mobility, an Atlanta-based electric vehicle company backed by BroadPeak Investment Group, is launching a new electric vehicle company focused on last-mile delivery and commercial fleet operations. The company designs, assembles, and distributes purpose-built electric delivery and utility vehicles through a Georgia assembly operation and a nationwide franchise and dealer network. Vehicles are imported in kit form from a specialized EV manufacturing partner with 25+ years of production experience, assembled in Georgia to U.S. specifications, and sold across all fifty states. These vehicles are already established in comparable markets in Canada and Europe. U.S. self-certification under the low-speed-vehicle rule is well underway, initial vehicles are arriving, and we are ready to begin selling. This is a founder-backed, patient-capital venture built to scale the right way: certification first, channel second, growth third. The Role This is the founding on-site operations role at BroadPeak Mobility's Conyers, Georgia assembly facility. You are the person on the floor every day: standing up the facility, managing the technical trainer program with the manufacturing partner, building and leading the assembly team, and ensuring every vehicle that leaves the facility meets U.S. specification and quality standards. You will report to the EVP, Electric Vehicle Operations and, in the interim, to the Chairman & CEO of BroadPeak Investment Group. This is not a corporate role. It is a plant floor role. The right person is most comfortable when they are in the building, not behind a desk. This is a rare chance to build something from the ground up and grow with the company as volume scales. Location: On-site at BroadPeak Mobility's assembly facility in Conyers, GA. Daily floor presence required. Monday–Friday with flexibility during production ramp periods and delivery schedules.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years in vehicle or equipment assembly, light manufacturing, or CKD/SKD operations with direct floor leadership responsibility.
  • Hands-on experience managing a production team of at least 5 to 15 people; you have hired, trained, and held people accountable on a factory floor.
  • Experience working with foreign technical trainers or OEM knowledge-transfer programs; you know how to absorb tribal knowledge and turn it into written, repeatable SOPs.
  • Logistics and import experience; comfortable coordinating with overseas suppliers on timing, documentation, and inventory.
  • Comfortable being the only operations leader on site in Year 1; you set up the systems, not just run them.
  • Floor-first: you are most effective and most comfortable when you are in the building, not in a meeting.
  • Process-builder: you document everything, create repeatable systems, and leave every process better than you found it.
  • Owner's mindset: you treat the operation like your own business, managing cost, quality, and output with discipline.
  • Direct communicator: you give clear direction, hold the team accountable, and escalate problems early rather than late.
  • Calm under pressure: production environments create daily problems; you solve them methodically and keep the floor moving.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with US vehicle compliance requirements is a strong plus: FMVSS, VIN assignment, DOT labeling, and pre-delivery inspection processes.
  • Commercial sense: you understand unit cost, margin, and pricing, and can support a sale when needed.
  • Background in golf/LSV, utility vehicles, powersports, agricultural equipment, EV, or light commercial vehicles is directly relevant.
  • Georgia-based or willing to relocate to the Conyers, GA area. This role requires daily on-site presence.

Responsibilities

  • Stand up the Conyers assembly facility from the ground up: layout, equipment, tooling, receiving bays, assembly stations, QC checkpoints, and outbound logistics.
  • Manage the manufacturing partner technical trainer program on site: coordinate trainer schedules, facilitate knowledge transfer, and document every assembly and QC procedure as a repeatable, auditable SOP.
  • Recruit, onboard, and lead the initial assembly team of 4 to 8 technicians using Georgia Quick Start workforce training support.
  • Establish production rhythm, throughput targets, and daily output metrics from pilot volume toward a multi-thousand-unit annual operation.
  • Own FMVSS compliance on the floor: VIN stamping, DOT label application, US-spec component installation, and pre-delivery inspection processes.
  • Coordinate inbound vehicle shipments, assembly kits, and parts with the overseas manufacturing partner and freight and customs providers, managing timing, documentation, and inventory.
  • Schedule and oversee vehicle delivery to end users and on-site venues; manage the handoff, setup, and customer first experience.
  • The Conyers assembly facility end to end: layout, equipment, safety, cleanliness, and daily operations.
  • Assembly team: hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and day-to-day leadership of the production crew.
  • Import and logistics: coordinate inbound shipments, kits, and parts with the manufacturing partner and freight and customs providers; manage timing, documentation, and inventory.
  • Manufacturing partner relationship on the ground: coordinate with technical trainers, manage supply and kit receiving, and flag product or quality issues upstream.
  • Production scheduling and throughput: manage the build schedule against sales orders, maintain output targets, and report daily production metrics to the EVP.
  • Quality control: own the pre-delivery inspection process, ensure every vehicle meets U.S. specification, and maintain all compliance documentation required by NHTSA.
  • Delivery and fulfillment: schedule and deliver vehicles to end users and on-site venues; own the handoff, setup, and post-sale customer experience.
  • Service and support: own post-sale service, warranty, parts, and maintenance; keep customers satisfied and coming back.
  • Inventory and parts: manage kit receiving, component inventory, and parts ordering for the installed fleet.
  • Cost and inventory management: manage site operating levers — labor, parts, inventory, and cost control — to run a lean, profitable operation.
  • Facility compliance: OSHA, Georgia workplace safety, and environmental requirements.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with a performance bonus tied to production output, quality metrics, and on-time delivery targets.
  • Equity participation available for the right candidate.
