About The Position

GlobalMeet, a division of Harris, is seeking a Director, AI Operations to lead AI transformation across its webcasting platform and business. This role focuses on execution and adoption, establishing an AI-enabled code factory and embedding AI capabilities into products and workflows. The Director will translate AI strategy into measurable outcomes, accelerating development and innovation. This is a remote role for candidates in Canada, with a preference for the EST timezone. Travel is required approximately 25% of the time, and candidates must be eligible for international travel.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in technology, operations, product, or digital transformation roles.
  • Proven experience building or operating AI-enabled development environments (e.g., code factory models) with measurable impact on engineering velocity and output quality.
  • Demonstrated success selecting and implementing AI-DLC and agentic development at enterprise scale.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, leading through influence and peer-driven collaboration.
  • A player-coach mindset with a track record of developing talent and building cultures of continuous learning.
  • Proven track record operationalizing agentic software capabilities using AI-DLC technologies and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and change management skills to translate complex AI concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deep hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, webcasting, streaming media, or unified communications platforms.
  • Familiarity with high-availability, real-time systems where uptime and flawless execution are paramount.
  • Background in environments serving Fortune 500 or regulated industries (e.g., investor relations, financial services).

Responsibilities

  • Architect and operationalize an AI-DLC powered software factory to accelerate the development lifecycle, including sprint planning, code generation, automated testing, QA, documentation, and release processes.
  • Standardize and scale AI-augmented development practices across R&D teams to improve velocity, quality, and consistency.
  • Operationalize Anthropic Claude Code and related agentic development tooling within enterprise-grade engineering workflows.
  • Mentor and grow the team's AI fluency, technical depth, and operational maturity.
  • Lead by example by developing key AI features and critical architectural changes.
  • Identify and operationalize opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into GlobalMeet's core platform, such as intelligent audience analytics, automated event production, real-time stream optimization, and smart compliance tooling.
  • Drive exploration of AI-powered features to create differentiated value for customers.
  • Collaborate with Product and R&D to embed intelligence into the product roadmap and technology ecosystem.
  • Establish governance frameworks for responsible AI-assisted software development, including human-in-the-loop approval, auditability, security controls, and operational safeguards.
  • Define standards for AI agent execution, repository permissions, prompt management, context handling, and production deployment workflows.
  • Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to ensure AI adoption aligns with data governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure AI-enabled workflows maintain enterprise standards for resiliency, traceability, and operational integrity.
  • Continuously monitor the AI landscape for new models, frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for practical applicability and recommend solutions that provide competitive advantage, reduce costs, or unlock new capabilities.
  • Serve as the organizational change leader for AI adoption, developing and executing training, communication, and enablement strategies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous innovation where AI is a core operating capability.
