Requirements

• Strong skills in event planning, events management, budgeting, and digital marketing strategies.
• Proven experience in nonprofit management with a focus on fundraising, marketing, or communication roles.
• Expertise in CRM software systems.
• Demonstrated ability in proposal writing for grants and sponsorships.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with experience in research to identify new funding opportunities.
• Familiarity with social media management platforms and data collection methods essential for effective outreach campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy and manage the annual fundraising budget in partnership with the CEO and Board leadership.
• Plan and deliver high-impact fundraising events while leading advertising, PR, and media outreach to grow awareness and engagement.
• Build and manage a robust grant pipeline, including research, proposal development, submission, tracking, and reporting.
• Cultivate relationships with foundations, corporations, and individual donors; oversee donor stewardship; and implement a major gifts strategy.
• Lead social media and website efforts to support donor acquisition, retention, and overall fundraising goals.
• Lead, mentor and develop small staff in the department.
