Director of Adolescent Programming
About The Position
Join our team at Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital, where you'll play a vital role as the Director of Adolescent Programming, leading and shaping the patient care experience for our Adolescent unit. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll have the opportunity to manage and direct patient care activities, ensuring adherence to our high standards of mental health practice and facility policies. Your leadership will contribute to our hospital's mission and objectives, guiding our dedicated team of RNs, MHTs, Providers, and Program Therapists towards excellence in patient care. Requirements
- Master’s Degree specializing in social work or a clinical related mental health area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licensed in Social Work or Clinical related mental health area issued by the State of Washington.
- Three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
- CPR certification and CPI training within 60 days of employment.
- Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission /CMS, OSHA, state and federal regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop a system for continuity of care and communication with patients
- Implement program policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Coordinate and evaluate treatment planning
- Conduct and document monthly program meetings
- Provide leadership and direction to staff
- Orient new employees and provide education
