About The Position

The West Valley Sanitation District is seeking an experienced public sector management professional with a strong background in financial management, a customer-service orientation, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. The District provides reliable wastewater collection and disposal services to over 110,000 residents in Campbell, Monte Sereno, Saratoga, the Town of Los Gatos, and surrounding unincorporated areas. The District is committed to continuous improvement, stewardship, and efficiency in delivering high-quality service while safeguarding public health and protecting the environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on public sector management professional with excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication abilities and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Equivalent of five years of broad and extensive experience in public-sector administration, financial management, or related field
• At least three years in a responsible management capacity
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related field
