About The Position

InSite Group is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Director of Acquisitions & Development with a proven track record in identifying, evaluating, acquiring, capitalizing, and advancing new real estate development opportunities. This is a hands-on role for a seasoned real estate professional who combines strong financial and analytical capabilities with market knowledge, deal-making skills, team management, and the ability to move opportunities from initial sourcing through capitalization, closing, and development execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions and/or development.
• Strong financial modeling, underwriting, capitalization, negotiation, and transaction execution skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of the full real estate investment and development lifecycle.
• Strong market relationships and ability to independently source opportunities.
• Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and execution-oriented.
• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source and evaluate acquisition and development opportunities.
• Underwrite opportunities, including financial returns, development costs, market fundamentals, zoning, and development potential.
• Prepare comprehensive business plans, financial analyses, and deal presentations for internal review and capital partners.
• Develop and execute capitalization strategies, including debt, equity, and joint-venture structures, and coordinate with lenders and capital partners.
• Lead due diligence and drive transactions through negotiation, capitalization and successful closing.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, owners, lenders, capital partners, and other market participants.
