About The Position

We believe in curiosity, collaboration, and delivering exceptional value—always. We’re looking for a Director of Account Management to lead and inspire a high-performing team of 5 Account Managers. This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and is pivotal in driving client success, deepening relationships, and ensuring our solutions consistently deliver measurable impact.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in account management leadership.
  • Experienced in managing high-performing account management teams.
  • Passionate about energy markets, analytics, or software solutions; energy industry experience is a plus.
  • Skilled at translating complex technical solutions into clear business value for clients.
  • Inspiring, collaborative, and proactive in driving client and team success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of account managers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Enhance the operating cadence of the account management team to help ensure Gross Revenue Retention (GRR) of 90%+
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them maximize value from Ascend Analytics’ suite of solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Product, and Analytics—to align client needs with innovative solutions.
  • Develop strategies to strengthen client relationships, increase adoption, and drive long-term success.
  • Champion Ascend Analytics’ values of integrity, curiosity, and excellence in every interaction.
