About The Position
Manages the operational activities and the nursing staff of assigned patient care areas. Coordinates critical care patient care services with other departments. Maintains direct oversight of the House Manager staff.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field is required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license.
- BCLS Certification is required.
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification required 3 months from date of hire.
- Five year’s experience in Critical Care nursing or closely related field with demonstrated leadership abilities.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification preferred within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months from date of hire.
- Certification in associated area of expertise preferred.
