Requirements
- Must have a strong understanding of Joint Commission and State regulations.
- Must be accountable for the clinical practice of nursing.
- Must be able to provide leadership to Patient Care Services.
- Must be able to ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistent with the institution's mission, goals, and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and directs the patient care and management activities in the Patient Care Services Division within the guidelines of the Joint Commission and State regulations.
- Achieves and maintains competent services with goals consistent with those of UC Health and Patient Care Services.
- Accountable for the clinical practice of nursing.
- Provides leadership to Patient Care Services.
- Ensures the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistent with the institution's mission, goals, and objectives.
