About The Position

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking an experienced leader to join their team as the Director of Northeast Home Medical Equipment (NHME). NEHME is a non-profit regional medical equipment/home respiratory therapy company with a 25-year history of growth and adaptability. As an affiliate of The Eddy, St. Peter’s Health Partners, and Trinity Health, NEHME is looking for a Director to oversee its operations. The Director will be responsible for the overall administration, management, and development of NEHME, including program plans, goals, budget, inventory, asset management, marketing, and staffing. This role ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. Additionally, the Director will lead business development strategies, Quality Improvement plans, and compliance plans. They will also manage vendor and payer relationships to secure optimal pricing and reimbursement, while ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the entire patient experience, from referral to delivery and beyond.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3-5 years of experience in related fields.
  • NYS Driver’s license required.
  • At least two years of previous management experience in home medical equipment.
  • Strong understanding of DME regulations, reimbursement systems, operations, and accreditation standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Respiratory therapy license preferred but not required.

  • Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
