Video: Videojet Technologies | We’re There, Protecting What Matters Most Reporting to the Vice President, Veralto Enterprise System (VES), the VESL, Growth, North America will be a senior-level position responsible for owning the global VES growth processes to support the growth and development of the VES culture across North America to achieve Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. This position will serve as the instrumental coach and trainer for leaders and associates, enabling process improvements and sustaining stronger results through the use of VES tools. This position will leverage VES commercial standard work and be responsible for deploying and sustaining best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience deploying continuous improvement and/or VES processes, with a focus on fundamentals (PSP, VMDM, SW).
  • Process-oriented individual with a passion for detail and experience with organizational change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a strategy through the identification of gaps and root causes, then executing on countermeasures and leading through influence.
  • Able to help teams take and manage risk and drive experimentation to facilitate learning.
  • A ‘Gemba-based’ leader who has demonstrated experience working with diverse teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement with an eye towards ‘hands-on’ learning.
  • Must be able to set and attain goals and initiate actions to resolve problems and improve products and processes.
  • Must be able to provide concise executive summaries of business performance issues, changes needed or made, and results delivered.
  • Proven ability to navigate a matrixed organization and drive outcomes through proactive collaboration and clear, professional communication with people at all levels across the organization
  • Must demonstrate the ability to manage by influence and build trust with other senior leaders, cross-functional leaders, and Veralto VES leadership.
  • Great computer skills (data analysis, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, statistical tools).
  • Able to travel 30-50% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in commercial growth key performance indicators (KPIs) in the commercial organization.
  • Establish and sustain global standard work in partnership with functional leaders, regional VPGMs, and region-based VESLs.
  • Lead and execute the daily implementation of VES processes in the Commercial North America teams: Champion the use of problem-solving and partner to determine which VES tool to apply and when.
  • Provide coaching and guidance for daily management, visual project management, and Growth Rooms.
  • Audit existing processes and systems to determine the actions required for improvement at the gemba.
  • Regularly review performance and partner with senior leaders to define short-term and long-term VES strategies.
  • Support inorganic growth / M&A activities based on the product roadmap.
  • Support in the planning, facilitation, implementation, and sustainment of kaizen activities: Guide pre-work and sustainment of the Kaizen process and provide training on key VES Tools (Kaizen, PSP, Daily Management, etc.)
  • Ensure and conduct regular reviews of kaizen charter creation, review, approval, and pre-work that drive successful kaizen preparation and kaizen sustainment.
  • Develop talent capability and culture development in the commercial functions: Own VES immersion for L1, L2, and L3 leaders.
  • Mentor future VES talent in the application of commercial tools (through direct and indirect leadership).
