About The Position

Läderach, a premium chocolate house founded in Switzerland in 1962, is expanding its North American presence and seeking a senior leader to drive its retail operations. The brand emphasizes a 'bean to bar to you' philosophy, controlling the entire chocolate-making process in-house in Switzerland. With over 220 chocolateries globally and a growing footprint in the US and Canada, Läderach is prioritizing North America for expansion. This role is a key leadership position within the North American team, reporting to the President, North America, and offers a trajectory towards executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Eight or more years of multi-unit retail leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated accountability for operations, standards, and a distributed field team.
  • Experience leading through an RSM or District Manager (DM) layer.
  • A track record in premium or specialty retail where guest experience is paramount.
  • Operational credibility and field presence, with a reputation for raising standards and coaching effectively.
  • Sales acumen grounded in operational thinking, understanding key metrics and building teams to deliver them.
  • Executive presence and ambition for growth into senior operations leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) team, setting direction, building capability, and holding them accountable for performance and standards across all markets.
  • Own operational excellence by establishing and enforcing store standards, operational rhythms, and execution discipline across all boutiques.
  • Drive training and customer experience by ensuring brand standards and product knowledge are embedded through rigorous training and coaching.
  • Manage labor productivity by developing staffing models, overseeing scheduling, and optimizing labor efficiency.
  • Champion sales performance, focusing on like-for-like (L4L) sales growth, conversion, and average transaction value.
  • Lead new store openings by owning the operational playbook for market entry and boutique launches.
  • Serve as the primary channel connecting field operations to headquarters, translating field realities into strategic decisions.

Benefits

  • Base Salary $150,000 – $185,000
  • Annual Bonus 15–20% of base, tied to L4L sales growth, conversion, ATV, and labor productivity
