About The Position

Magellan Aerospace, Corporate has an exciting opportunity for a Director, North America Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the Vice President, North American Operations and the Chief Financial Officer, the successful incumbent will be responsible for reviewing and supporting divisional reporting, forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, business cases as well as other finance-related activities for all the North American divisions. The Individual will act as a trusted advisor to the Vice President, North American Operations, providing insightful analysis, financial advice, and business analytics to drive efficiencies and improve business performances and will liaise with the corporate finance department. The Director, North America Finance Business Partner will provide relationship management and technical financial counsel to the business units while ensuring that adherence to all regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Accounting degree or equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting and /or Finance Planning & Analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Review and provide support for all financial management reporting for the business unit.
  • Review and analyze monthly and year-to-date business unit financial reporting packages.
  • Develop regular reporting and analysis for management team, including key metrics reports, and conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required.
  • Support the annual budget plan development and process for the business units.
  • Provide on-going financial modeling and analysis expertise to management team as needed.
  • Support the 12 month financial modeling and analysis to support the development of long-term initiatives and business plans.
  • Lead the Regional financial consolidation and analysis.
  • Assess on-going cash activities for maximum efficiency.
  • Analyze and optimize cash flow forecasting.
  • Assist in developing business plans for strategic initiatives, major capital expenses and/or acquisitions as appropriate.
  • Assist in analyzing strategic plan financial data.
  • Develop a review process to ensure that finance and operations meet divisional and corporate targets.
  • Benchmark key division metrics against internal and external sources.
  • Provide financial support service and expertise for divisional operation.
  • Support the divisional finance staff by providing financial analysis and knowledge.
  • Ensure that the finance team delivers the highest standard of cross-departmental teamwork.
