About The Position

Visa is seeking a Director to lead high-priority initiatives for North America, partnering with the North America Chief of Staff and working closely with the Regional President and regional leadership teams. The role owns ambiguous, cross-functional problems end to end: framing questions, conducting analysis, shaping strategy, and driving execution through to measurable outcomes. Work may involve rapid-response executive requests as well as longer-term or ongoing initiatives. The position leads Regional President priorities, including surge work and standing regional initiatives such as the early careers pipeline, location and office strategy, and Business Operations workstreams. It also supports client readiness by keeping cross-functional client plans current and coordinating teams during major events. In partnership with the NextGen BizOps team, the Director will identify and reshape BizOps workflows that could benefit from applied AI or streamlined processes. This is a high-visibility role with exposure to senior stakeholders and all parts of the business. The position is based in an office setting, with at least three days per week in the office and travel required 5–10% of the time. Work hours vary according to departmental needs.

  • Ability to quickly understand new topics and teams, assess ambiguous situations and tradeoffs, and move work forward independently.
  • Business acumen and ability to understand Visa's business and clients or learn them quickly.
  • Composure, judgment, and attention to detail under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder relationship-building skills across functions and levels.
