Director-Network Technology Support, you lead large, multi-level technical teams responsible for both legacy network platforms and modern cloud-native technologies. You drive the transformation of people, processes, and platforms as AT&T evolves toward a software-based, highly automated, and intelligent network. Your leadership directly impacts network resilience, security, and customer experience across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Experience leading support and operations for hybrid network environments spanning legacy and cloud-native platforms.
  • Hands-on knowledge of software-defined networking, virtualized network functions, and containerized network functions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and orchestration technologies such as OpenStack and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in network performance analytics, KPI development, and operational remediation.
  • Knowledge of network security practices, compliance standards, vulnerability remediation, and IAM systems.
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience overseeing large organizations, including leaders of leaders.
  • Proven ability to define and execute technology and operations strategies aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Experience influencing people leadership decisions including hiring, promotions, performance management, discipline, and compensation.
  • 10+ years of related experience in network technology, infrastructure, or cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop large technical organizations supporting legacy network equipment and cloud-native platforms, including VNFs and CNFs.
  • Drive workforce transformation by building cloud and software-based networking capabilities through structured training and hands-on development.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and integration of software-based network platforms into production environments.
  • Direct analytics, performance optimization, and remediation strategies to ensure network reliability, efficiency, and resilience.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, including ASPS, while leading vulnerability management and Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies.
  • Define and execute operations strategies leveraging data, AI/ML, and intelligent automation to improve end-to-end network operations.
