As Director-Network Services, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the planning, deployment, maintenance, and performance of network infrastructure, directing and developing teams to ensure seamless connectivity, compliance with company and regulatory policies, and the efficient operation and support of a broad range of services, including wireless, wireline, VOIP, video, and data. What you’ll do: Team Leadership and Development: Direct, mentor, and develop teams of managers, technicians, and engineers through regular huddles, training, coaching, performance evaluations, and handling recruitment and grievances. Project and Operational Management: Oversee network projects and daily operations, ensuring timely task completion, coordinating with departments, maintaining service levels, and managing costs and workloads. Compliance and Performance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, monitor performance metrics, increase productivity, manage budgets, and report operational issues to senior management. Risk Management and Problem Resolution: Identify and mitigate potential risks, manage escalations for high-severity network issues, resolve complex problems during outages, and handle customer complaints. Stakeholder Coordination and Strategic Initiatives: Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, execute market-level plans for service activation and reliability, collaborate on regional and national initiatives, and drive lead generation and product distribution. What you’ll need: Design and execute strategies that support the overarching philosophy of the organization. Overseeing departmental programs and is often hands-on with the design and implementation of applicable strategies. Typically, leading large teams, supervising supervisors as well as career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
