About The Position

This role provides executive vision and a long-term roadmap for network architecture, cloud integration, and managed services strategy. The Director will lead the design and evolution of modern IP/MPLS and optical transport networks, hybrid/multi-cloud architectures, and software-defined infrastructure. A key focus will be championing cloud-native transformation, including infrastructure-as-code, containerization, orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud connectivity solutions. The role drives modernization through automation, software-defined infrastructure, AI-assisted operations, and zero-trust security principles. Additionally, it involves developing standardized reference architectures and service design frameworks to improve scalability, operational consistency, and customer experience. The position also directs cloud engineering and operations across major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), focusing on provisioning, cost optimization, observability, disaster recovery, and FinOps practices. It provides architectural leadership and design for the service delivery team, and architects and delivers customer-specific solutions combining network, cloud, and security components. The Director partners with sales, product, and delivery teams to develop differentiated managed services, respond to RFPs, and ensure exceptional client outcomes. The role optimizes performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency of core network and cloud infrastructure, leads proactive monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement using modern observability platforms, and ensures a robust security posture and compliance. It oversees the design, deployment, and automation of network and cloud infrastructure using DevOps and GitOps methodologies. Furthermore, the Director leads, mentors, and develops high-performing engineering teams, manages CAPEX and OPEX budgets with strong financial discipline and ROI focus, cultivates strategic vendor and partner relationships, and collaborates across the organization to align technology strategy with business growth objectives.
