This senior leadership role is for the Director, Mental Health in Canada, a 2-year contract position. Movember is making a significant investment in the Canadian market to address the critical juncture of young men's mental health. The role will lead Movember's strategy, design, implementation, and stewardship of its Mental Health portfolio, with a focus on young men aged 12 to 35, covering promotion, prevention, and early intervention. This includes co-leading global initiatives and leading market-specific programs like Breaking the Ice with the Western Hockey League and Ontario Hockey League. The role will also focus on growing esports and gaming work, and driving research on the online environment, AI, and social connection in partnership with young men. The Director will lead programmatic design from needs assessment to evaluation, embedding clinical governance, safeguarding, and lived experience. They will collaborate with Canada-based income, Marketing and Communications, and Policy and Advocacy teams. As part of the Canadian leadership team, the Director will contribute to country strategy in a matrix relationship with the Country Director, Canada, and will lead a team, fostering a learning culture.
