About The Position

Oscar is seeking a Director, Member Experience Strategy to join their Member Experience Team. Oscar is a health insurance company that utilizes a full stack technology platform and focuses on member service. The Director will drive the strategy, program design, and implementation for a specific department, focusing on enhancing overall program value. This role reports to the Vice President, Member Experience.

Requirements

10+ years experience in healthcare strategy and operations, and/or related field
6+ years of management experience
3+ years experience in leading large-scale cross functional initiatives

Nice To Haves

Master's degree
Clinical licensure
Management Consulting experience with a focus on healthcare
Experience modeling in Excel / Google Sheets
Experience in a growth-stage company

Responsibilities

Set, drive and execute the department's strategy and vision to enhance the overall value and impact of the Member Experience Program, including identifying and evaluating new opportunities
Understand the competitive landscape, member needs, and relevant healthcare and consumer trends; serve as a thought leader for the MemX department
Work cross functionally to bring new ideas to life, build alignment and drive accountability through influence and indirect leadership
Lead the planning and program management of key company and department strategy initiatives
Own and continuously evaluate the financial, operational, and performance of the department
Report to Senior Leadership on the health of the business, strategic priorities, performance, risks, and required decisions
Drive the budgeting process and the fiscal performance of the team in partnership with the leadership team
Develop and grow direct reports, ensuring colleagues receive clear direction, coaching, and professional development
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
