About The Position

The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing Avania’s global marketing strategy. This leader will elevate Avania’s brand presence, strengthen market positioning, and build scalable marketing programs that support business development, thought leadership, and customer engagement. The Director, Marketing role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on capability, strong leadership skills, and deep experience in B2B marketing within life sciences, medical technology, or CRO services This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborates closely with Business Development, Clinical Development, Advisory Services, and Executive Leadership

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with Avania’s growth objectives.
  • Strengthen Avania’s brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all markets and channels.
  • Lead competitive and market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and differentiation strategies.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape long-term commercial strategy.
  • Build and manage multi-channel demand-generation programs to support lead creation and pipeline acceleration.
  • Oversee digital marketing, including website optimization, SEO/SEM, marketing automation, and analytics.
  • Develop targeted campaigns for key therapeutic areas, service lines, and geographic markets.
  • Identify areas where artificial intelligence tools can streamline and optimize demand generation and brand awareness.
  • Lead the creation of high-quality content including white papers, case studies, webinars, presentations, and industry insights.
  • Manage corporate communications, PR, and media relations to enhance Avania’s visibility.
  • Support subject-matter experts in developing thought leadership initiatives
  • Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external materials.
  • Oversee creative development for campaigns, events, and digital assets.
  • Manage Avania’s presence at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to align marketing initiatives with sales goals.
  • Partner with Clinical Development and Advisory Services to highlight Avania’s expertise and value proposition
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize ROI.
  • Manage the global marketing budget and vendor relationships
