About The Position

The LATAM New Products Oncology Access Director is responsible for leading access, pricing, and reimbursement strategy for future oncology launches, expansion opportunities, and the broader future portfolio. This role is focused on building tomorrow’s growth by ensuring that new oncology assets are access ready well ahead of launch and that expansion opportunities are supported through strong, proactive market access planning. A key aspect of this role is early access planning, to ensure evidence generation, payer strategy, pricing approach, and stakeholder engagement are all aligned to support successful access outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring deep oncology access expertise, strong strategic foresight, and the ability to partner across global, regional, and local teams to prepare the portfolio for future growth. This role is critical to creating launch excellence for oncology, reducing access risk, and enabling sustainable patient access for future products and indications across multiple markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, public health, business, economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in market access, pricing, reimbursement, or launch strategy in oncology or the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with early launch planning and access readiness for oncology assets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market access, pricing, and reimbursement strategy for future oncology launches, portfolio expansions, and pipeline assets.
  • Start access planning with anticipation to ensure proactive preparation for payer, HTA, evidence, and pricing requirements.
  • Build robust access strategies that anticipate country specific barriers, reimbursement hurdles, and value demonstration needs.
  • Partner with Global, Regional, Medical, Commercial, Regulatory, Policy, and Local teams to align launch readiness and access planning.
  • Support evidence generation and value communication strategies that strengthen access positioning for future oncology assets.
  • Monitor evolving payer expectations, HTA requirements, competitor activity, treatment guidelines, and policy changes across key markets.
  • Develop pricing and reimbursement approaches that protect value while enabling timely patient access.
  • Ensure access strategy is aligned to portfolio priorities, business objectives, and long-term growth plans.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable oncology launch processes and best practices that can be applied across the future portfolio.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure access considerations are embedded early in development and launch planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
