About The Position

Provide enterprise-level leadership across the maritime organization, advising on sustainment, lifecycle management, and end‑to‑end supply chain priorities. Partner with senior executives to shape long‑range strategies that strengthen operational readiness, industrial base resilience, and technology modernization. Lead the assessment and integration of advanced technologies—including AI, cloud architectures, and mission‑critical systems—to improve logistics efficiency, maintenance planning, and resource allocation. Build and sustain cross‑functional partnerships with internal teams, industry stakeholders, and government organizations to align investments, mitigate risk, and accelerate capability delivery. Support enterprise architecture development, mission assurance practices, and spectrum‑dependent system planning to ensure robust and future‑ready operations. Represent the organization in high‑visibility forums as a trusted technical advisor, providing concise, media‑trained communication to leadership at national and international levels. Mentor and direct high‑performing technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and mission focus.

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "TOP SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "TOP SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
  • Minimum of TEN (10)+ years' of experience leading diverse teams in a federal consulting environment, with at least FIVE (5) years' of federal missions/operations
  • Bachelors degree
  • Ability to guide strategic investments, strengthen industrial base resilience, and manage multi‑agency or multi‑partner collaborations.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of delivering strategic, data‑driven insights that shape executive‑level decisions.
  • Demonstrated success leading high‑performing teams in fast‑paced, mission‑driven environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within or alongside federal and defense, or other complex operational sectors.
  • Knowledge of sustainment modeling, logistics forecasting tools, or supply chain analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud migration approaches, AI/ML integration, and digital modernization of operational ecosystems.
  • Prior involvement in international collaboration, coalition engagement, or cross‑border technical partnerships.
  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise architecture and strategy, mission assurance, spectrum management, and advanced technology modernization within federal organizations.
  • Proven experience in supply chain, sustainment, logistics, or operational readiness domains—ideally in a complex or regulated environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and engaging effectively across diverse technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Background interfacing with industrial base partners or supporting government acquisition, readiness, or technology‑roadmap planning.
