Director, Manufacturing

Harris•Upper Marlboro, MD
•$143,500 - $208,075

About The Position

The Director of Manufacturing Operations is responsible for enterprise-wide manufacturing strategy, performance, and scalability. The role oversees manufacturing operations across all facilities and provides leadership, direction, and accountability to plant managers through direct or dotted-line reporting, depending on region and structure. It ensures manufacturing infrastructure, capacity, and operating models support internal construction projects and external manufacturing customers while enabling consistent performance, repeatability, and growth across regions. The Director is the primary integration point between manufacturing and engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain, estimating, product management, and construction. This is an enterprise role focused on manufacturing performance and scale, systems, standards, and outcomes. It enables industrialized construction and external manufacturing growth; it is not a plant manager, an industrial engineering execution role, or a project-specific manufacturing lead.
