About The Position

We’re looking for a Director of Lifecycle Marketing Campaign Operations to lead the operational backbone of WHOOP’s lifecycle marketing engine. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on operational excellence, ensuring campaigns are launched with speed, precision, and quality across email, push, in‑app, and emerging channels. You will own the systems, processes, and team that enable lifecycle marketing to scale—partnering closely with Lifecycle Strategy, Growth, Data Science, Core Product, Engineering, and Creative to deliver impactful, personalized member experiences.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in Lifecycle Marketing, Marketing Operations, or Martech.
  • 4+ years leading teams, including experience managing managers.
  • Hands-on Iterable or similar ESP expertise required, with deep understanding of lifecycle campaign execution.
  • Proven experience applying AI or advanced automation to marketing operations or campaign quality.
  • Strong operational rigor with exceptional attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and optimization.
  • Builder mindset with comfort creating structure and clarity in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end lifecycle campaign operations, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery across email, push, in-app, and emerging channels
  • Lead and scale the Campaign Operations team, setting clear standards for execution, QA, prioritization, and career development.
  • Lead complex Martech solutioning for advanced use cases, driving best practices in automation, personalization, experimentation, and platform governance.
  • Leverage AI and automation to improve operational efficiency, campaign quality, and speed-to-launch.
  • Establish and evolve campaign governance (intake, calendars, SLAs, QA frameworks, documentation).
  • Partner cross-functionally with Lifecycle Marketing, Growth, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Creative to align goals and execution.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, translating insights into recommendations and operational improvements.
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
