This leadership role is critical to the Customer and Agent Experience within the New Business area of the Customer Innovation Group (CIG). The Director will partner with various teams across multiple locations to provide strategy, direction, leadership, and management. The position involves leading several teams on the Addison, Texas Campus, comprising Team Managers and Case Managers, who support key distribution relationships. Activities span from application submission to policy contract issuance. The role currently requires an onsite work schedule, with an expectation of being in the office four days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), though this schedule is subject to change with advance notification.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in Annuity/Life Operations marked by strong business relationships, skilled leadership and demonstrated business results
  • 10+ years of Operational leadership experience
  • A four-year college degree with a strong academic record
  • Strategic, internally/externally focused individual adept at leading people and initiatives
  • Broad industry perspective and strong general business acumen
  • Working knowledge of insurance operations
  • Ability to target continuous improvement opportunities and drive execution focused on enhancing our service delivery and boosting overall performance
  • Collaborative solutioning style; Strong bias for action
  • High energy; Enthusiastic
  • Self-starter; Curious learner

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to ensure all activities are consistent with our goals, guidelines and culture by monitoring trends and evolving our strategy to keep up with changing customer expectations
  • Actively participate on collaborative panels, committees and teams with Marketing, Distribution, Operations, Finance, and other key areas to drive overall business results
  • Develop and maintain productivity and quality standards through audit and other review mechanisms to ensure policy, procedures, and objectives are carried out
  • Motivate and coach teams to meet service goals and increase productivity while driving down unit costs
  • Focus on employee development, succession and career planning through management, coaching and development
