About The Position

As a settlement administrator, we are responsible for notifying potential class members, reviewing and processing claim forms filed by individuals and entities, calculating losses, auditing claims to determine the extent of the damages incurred and processing and distributing funds to eligible class members under the court’s direction. As part of Kroll, we employ nearly 5,000 professionals in 30 countries and territories around the world.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in legal services, financial services, or corporate compliance, is strongly preferred
  • Proven experience working with legal documentation in a professional setting
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage and maintain large volumes of data and complex documentation
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy when reviewing and processing information
  • Ability to adhere to structured workflows and consistently meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and document management systems
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Advanced capabilities in drafting, editing, and proofreading formal documents, reports, and professional correspondence
  • Experience conducting legal or case-related research, with the ability to identify and extract relevant docket or case information
  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when managing confidential or sensitive materials
  • Proven ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Skilled in tracking project milestones, monitoring deliverables, and following up to ensure deadlines are met
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to liaise with internal departments, legal counsel, and clients to ensure accuracy and timeliness

Responsibilities

  • Drafting or reviewing all declarations/affidavits prior to review by our legal team, ensuring preapproved templates are followed, case statistics and timelines are correct and consistent, and identifying potential issues.
  • Reviewing and providing edits to any “long form” and “short form” notices prior to dissemination, ensuring all dates are correct, timelines are consistent, and cross-checking dates in the case management database.
  • Reviewing draft websites to ensure all relevant documents and tabs are posted, the web form works correctly, and testing the online claim form.
  • Utilizing information provided in settlement agreements or other documents to draft the “long form” or “short form” claim forms for clients.
  • Coordinating with the project team and counsel on drafting and sending “CAFA” Notices in cases where Kroll is handling mailings for Defense counsel.
  • Serving as a liaison between the Business Development Team and the Client Services teams to review proposals and compare them to initial documents to ensure consistency and identify any missing information or documents.
  • Preparing an initial draft of case kick-off documents noting any potential issues prior to hand-off to the client services teams.
