About The Position

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the IT strategic roadmap, overseeing the planning and execution of IT programs and projects, engaging with stakeholders, leading a team, and ensuring risk and compliance. The Director will identify emerging technologies, collaborate with business leaders, establish governance frameworks, and communicate program status to executive leadership. The position also involves leading and mentoring a team, promoting a culture of innovation, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT strategy, program management, or enterprise project leadership.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or SAFe.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies.
  • Familiarity with portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the IT strategic roadmap in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify emerging technologies and trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT programs and projects.
  • Establish and manage program governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Serve as a key liaison between IT and business units to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and change management efforts.
  • Lead and mentor a team of program managers, project managers, and analysts.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support professional development and succession planning within the team.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with strategic initiatives and technology programs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
