The Director, Information Technology Finance serves as the strategic and operational leader for all financial management activities supporting Global Technology Solutions (GTS) and the IT organizations of Holland America Line, Seabourn, and Holland America Princess Alaska Tours (HAP), while also influencing financial governance across all nine Carnival Corporation brands. This role is accountable for the full lifecycle of IT financial planning and analysis—including OPEX, CAPEX, cost allocations, project financials, asset management, and long‑range strategic planning—ensuring that IT investments are optimized, transparent, and aligned with enterprise priorities. As the principal architect of the long‑term IT financial strategy, the director partners closely with senior executives, brand leadership, and cross‑functional teams to shape the financial direction of the corporation’s technology portfolio. The role leads the development of annual strategic and operating plans, oversees quarterly forecasting cycles, and drives financial rigor across all IT cost centers. This includes ensuring that funding is deployed effectively, financial controls are maintained, and decision‑makers have clear, data‑driven insights to guide prioritization and resource allocation. The director is responsible for establishing and enforcing strong financial governance, including internal controls and SOX compliance, while also championing continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and systems. The role oversees project‑based financial administration, total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling, KPI measurement, and the maintenance of financial tools such as Daptiv or equivalent platforms. A key focus is driving cost efficiency and savings initiatives across GTS and ensuring consistent financial practices across brands and operating companies. In addition to strategic responsibilities, the director provides day‑to‑day leadership to a growing IT Finance team, currently consisting of a manager and senior analyst. The role fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development, ensuring the team delivers high‑quality analysis, timely reporting, and exceptional business partnership. The director also plays a visible role in communicating financial insights and plan deliverables to senior leadership, including Brand Presidents and executive management, requiring strong executive presence and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations. This position is critical to ensuring that Carnival Corporation’s technology investments are financially sound, strategically aligned, and managed with discipline—ultimately enabling the corporation to deliver innovative, efficient, and cost‑effective technology solutions across its global portfolio.
