About The Position

The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance. The Impact you will have in this role: Being a member of IT FinSight Delivery team, you will provide oversight, guidance and assist with prioritization across the IT FINSIGHT portfolio. This role will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the FINSIGHT Major Release Management team, accountable for end-to-end planning, governance, and execution of FINSIGHT (FRM & Observability) releases across multiple product platforms. The leader will foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountability-driven culture—empowering teams, setting clear expectations, and using data and continuous feedback to improve delivery outcomes. The leader will run release governance, drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product, Operations, and Risk, and ensure transparent communication of release status as well as the execution of the major releases. In addition, this role will provide leadership and oversight for the FINSIGHT Evergreen team, which aims to track and remediate technical debt and security vulnerabilities while maintaining and enhancing a continuous intake and prioritization model, aligning remediation work to release plans and operational risk reduction, and tracking outcomes through clear metrics and reporting. This role partners closely with architects, product managers, program/project management, scrum master leadership and delivery teams to define release strategy and continuously improve release processes, tooling, and metrics. The position ensures releases are delivered predictably and safely, meeting business objectives while minimizing operational risk and client impact. Lastly, this role will attend Senior level forums to discuss the current state of the portfolio, providing updates, mitigation strategies to any foreseen roadblocks and communicate trade-offs when prioritization discussions are warranted.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the FINSIGHT Major Release Management and Evergreen functions, ensuring end-to-end planning, governance, and execution across multiple platforms.
  • Lead and develop multiple IT teams, fostering a high-performance, accountability-driven culture while aligning delivery to broader organizational goals.
  • Drive enterprise-wide collaboration across Engineering, Product, Operations, Risk, and other stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of business initiatives.
  • Establish and execute release governance frameworks, ensuring transparent communication of status, risks, mitigation strategies, and delivery progress to senior leadership.
  • Spearhead continuous improvement of IT delivery processes, tooling, and metrics to enhance efficiency, predictability, and overall portfolio outcomes.
  • Oversee technical debt remediation and security vulnerability management through the Evergreen model, aligning prioritization with release plans and risk reduction objectives.
  • Present portfolio updates, key risks, trade-offs, and mitigation strategies in senior-level forums to enable informed decision-making and prioritization.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to manage financial portfolio performance, leveraging metrics and data-driven insights to optimize investment allocation and delivery outcomes.
