The Consumer Health Team is seeking a Director to serve as a senior investment professional. This role involves direct responsibility for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments within the Consumer Health portfolio. The Director will lead deal activity across a designated geography, product category, or investment theme, and will be accountable for investment outcomes, value creation, and supporting portfolio companies. This is a senior operating position that combines strategic direction with hands-on deal execution, positioning the Director as a trusted senior advisor to Partners and portfolio management teams.

Requirements

  • 8 to 12 years of investment or operating experience, with a strong track record in private equity investing, transaction execution or operational leadership within consumer, healthcare or adjacent sectors.
  • Demonstrated success originating, evaluating and closing significant investments (€50 million+ enterprise value preferred), with evidence of value creation across the portfolio.
  • Deep expertise in the Consumer Health landscape, including brand strategy, omnichannel distribution, regulatory dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills. Able to command credibility with sophisticated management teams, institutional LPs and external partners.
  • Strong financial acumen and fluency with investment modeling, valuation and deal structuring.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Proven operational judgment and the ability to translate market insights into concrete investment theses and deal opportunities.
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Comfort with mentoring junior professionals and shaping investment culture.
  • Strategic, entrepreneurial and partnership-minded. Takes ownership of outcomes, moves with pace and brings a builder's orientation to platform development.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sourcing and pipeline development across assigned Consumer Health sectors or geographies, identifying and cultivating relationships with sellers, intermediaries and LP co-investors.
  • Lead the formation and evolution of investment theses within assigned focus areas, including category mapping, competitive positioning and market trend analysis.
  • Serve as primary investment decision maker and deal sponsor, with direct accountability for investment committee presentations and recommendation.
  • Lead the negotiation of transaction terms, pricing and deal structure in partnership with Partners and external advisors.
  • Oversee comprehensive commercial, financial and operational due diligence, working with external advisors to validate assumptions and identify key risks and levers.
  • Lead the development of post-acquisition value creation roadmaps, including 100-day plans and multi-year operating strategies.
  • Manage the investment committee approval process and coordinate all transaction closing mechanics with legal and finance teams.
  • Serve as the primary investment relationship owner for assigned portfolio companies, working directly with management teams on strategy, M&A, capital deployment and operational priorities.
  • Lead add-on acquisition identification, evaluation and execution, including syndication with co-investors.
  • Drive performance monitoring and problem-solving, escalating key decisions to Partners and intervention areas to senior management.
  • Sponsor and mentor portfolio company boards, ensuring robust governance and strategic clarity.
  • Mentor and develop Senior Analysts and Associate-level team members, contributing to talent development and succession planning within the Consumer Health function.
  • Contribute to ARCHIMED's Consumer Health thought leadership and external positioning through conference participation, investor communication and industry engagement.
  • Identify and build capabilities across the Consumer Health platform to support scaling and evolution of the investment program.
