Headquartered in Toronto, the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) is responsible for investing in new infrastructure projects. The CIB’s mission is to work with provincial, territorial, municipal, federal, Indigenous and private sector investor partners to transform the way infrastructure is planned, financed and delivered in Canada. Reporting to the VP, Investment Risk, the Director, Investment Risk and Equity Valuation, will focus on infrastructure and corporate/hybrid project finance investment risk assessment, with dedicated leadership for equity, equity-like and upside-sharing investment valuation, and valuation frameworks for non-traditional risk participation structures. The Director, Investment Risk and Equity Valuation, is responsible for reviewing transaction documentation and financial models, ensuring robust risk assessments and defensible valuation conclusions across infrastructure and corporate/hybrid project finance. The Director, Investment Risk and Equity Valuation, requires a strategic mindset and the ability to influence investment decisions at every stage, from intake to financial close and ongoing monitoring. Your oversight will help to shape and evaluate the risk profile and value implications of major infrastructure investments, while your cross-functional collaboration will ensure alignment across the organization. By staying ahead of industry trends, valuation methodologies and market benchmarks and communicating complex risk insights with clarity, you will serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader.
